Microsoft MCAD

The Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) certification is for individuals who code, test, and debug desktop-level applications that utilize the Microsoft .NET framework. Candidates must pass three exams—two core and one elective.

Elective Exam

The final required exam for MCAD certification is an elective exam. Any Web or Windows Application Requirement not taken as a Core, or a number of other current exams are acceptable to fulfill this elective.
